Bowery Gallery: Paintings and Drawings (2013)
These works ask: What do we reveal—or conceal—when we know we’re being seen? The beach becomes a stage where bodies and backdrops collide. The works contrast the vastness of the seascape with the fleeting intimacy of human encounters. The horizon line, unbroken and indifferent, contrasts with the transience of human activity. Even in leisure, there’s choreography.
